When integrating your data to Emarsys, it is important to check the health status of your integration and detect and resolve any upcoming issues. Emarsys offers you a number of tools, specific to that purpose. You can access these tools under Management > Predict Data Sources.
Predict Data Sources
The Predict Data Sources page is a status monitoring dashboard that serves as a starting point for you to troubleshoot any integration issues. The page consists of boxes, each dedicated to individual data sources and display health status information and some basic metrics. In case of any detected problems, depending on its severity the relevant boxes will show a warning or error message, and provide a detailed description of the issue and suggestions on how to fix them.
For more information, see The Predict Data Sources page.
Further tools are accessible from the Predict Data Sources menu (see below):
Live Validator
The Live Validator scans your website traffic to check if the Web Extend data collections scripts are functioning properly and if the data they are picking up on your website are consistent with those in your product and contact databases. The Live Validator displays the results of these validation checks, to help you troubleshoot any issues.
For more information, see Live Validator.
Category Explorer
Category Explorer shows a product category tree, generated by Emarsys on the basis of the category classification you provide. This tool provides you an overview of how your products are distributed among the categories and how popular the individual categories are. Checking the category tree becomes useful when troubleshooting potential issues with your product data file.
Category Explorer becomes visible only after you have implemented our Web Extend JavaScript API.
For more information, see Category Explorer.
Predict Test Trigger
On the Predict test trigger page you can trigger a cart recovery event that contains an email address and the number of products. By doing so, you can test whether a suite contact is receiving a test trigger email to their given email address.
For more information, see Predict test trigger.
Inspector
Inspector is a bookmarklet that allows you to see the Web Extend JavaScript commands issued on the different pages of your website. It is a front-end tool you can use to perform a quick manual check of your implementation of the data collection scripts.
For more information, see Inspector.
Live Events Viewer
On the Live Events page you can check if the Web Extend scripts are working properly after you have implemented them.
For more information, see Live Events Viewer.
Site Traffic Reporting
The Site Traffic page displays general information on the activity of customers on your website, like 'Total Page Views' and 'Total Orders'. These information are collected by the Web Extend scripts. Site Traffic helps you to troubleshoot issues like 'The number of total orders exceeds the number of unique order IDs in the downloaded .csv', and other problems.
For more information, see Site Traffic Reporting.
