Incentive Recommendation is a landmark product on our journey towards truly 1-to-1 personalization. We analyze your campaign launch lists to identify which customers are more likely to purchase when offered an incentive, and then assign the most efficient incentive to each one.
In other words, instead of sending the same incentive to the whole launch list, or grouping them in broad categories, you simply define the range of incentives you want, and we decide which one to send to each customer on a case-by-case basis.
Instant Search is a smart and lightning-fast product search engine you can add to your web store, providing your customers with a convenient way to search your product catalog, and offering product recommendations at the same time. As they type in the search box, your visitors will see instant results from your catalog in a drop-down list, which seamlessly integrates into the look and feel of your website.
Mobile Discovery provides a new and intuitive way for customers to browse your catalog on mobile. Referencing the Emarsys data collection scripts, it offers a selected range of relevant products as a set of cards and allows visitors to show their preferences with a simple swipe. Shortlists of favorite products can be built and this data can be later used for targeted engagement campaigns.
Not every industry vertical is suited to the eRFM scoring that underlies the Smart insight customer lifecycle reporting screens. so we are adapting Smart Insight to suit different industry verticals more accurately. The first of these is for businesses active in the travel sector.
If travel and leisure form a core part of your business, you can help us to define a different set of customer groups (personas) to focus on. We will then analyze your data for persona metrics and offer you comparisons over timeframes that are better suited to the seasonal nature of travel.
Our metrics include:
- The number of people in each group
- The conversion rate (purchases) of the group
- Average revenue per person
- Engagement (clicks)
We can also compare these metrics over more suitable time periods, such as last year or last season.
Personalization is the key to making your message stand out from the crowd, and Relational Data helps you do this with two great features.
The segment builder connects directly to an MySQL database outside your Emarsys account, either provided by us or hosted by you, and provides an easy-to-use interface for building, testing and previewing complex and highly targeted segments.

The same database fields will also be available in the personalization options of your message content, taking you one step closer to true 1-to-1 marketing.
Targeting unengaged and defecting customers is a tricky business. This new module for CRM Ads uses your own data to identify these contacts and uses our intelligent algorithms to target them online, without disrupting the rest of your ads campaigns.
You no longer have to build and test complex programs to find the right strategy; create a reactivation campaign with one single click. Additional features let you set up control groups and define how long to treat a contact as unengaged, but otherwise Emarsys makes all the important decisions for you.
With Notification Inbox, you can store all the messages you send to your users in one place, within the app. By enabling this feature, your app users can easily browse past notifications, increasing the reach and time window of your campaigns.
