Flexible Analytics Integration is a custom add-on. If you are interested in using it, contact your Client Success Manager for eligibility and pricing information.
This integration allows users of SAP EMARSYS to display Dashboards and Reporting Screens created with 3rd-party data reporting and visualization applications in the Emarsys user interface. Users are enabled to access external dashboards and reports to compare with Emarsys performance reports, without having to switch from one application to the other.
The Flexible Analytics Integration add-on does not allow the actual exchange of data between the source dashboard or report and the Emarsys Customer Engagement Platform. It allows only to visualize the target dashboard.

- SAP Analytics Cloud
- Google Looker Studio
- Microsoft Power BI
- Tableau
- Qlik
Initial setup
For setting up the Flexible Analytics Integration complete these steps:
- Publish your dashboard in the application of your choice to a public or a private website. Alternately, get the embed code provided with your dashboard.
- Provide Emarsys Technical Support with the URL, or the embed code and the display name for the screen in Emarsys.
- Emarsys will review and configure the URL for the Flexible Analytics Integration add-on.
- Technically, any third-party system can be a source, as long as it provides a valid URL or an embed code, but Emarsys may reject specific sources based on this review.
Using the Flexible Analytics Integration
- Access the reporting screen under the Add-ons > Flexible Analytics Integration menu.
Accessing SAP Analytics Cloud
Select the desired SAP Analytics Cloud dashboard from the drop-down list.
The embedded SAC Analytics Cloud dashboard displays every working function of the Emarsys dashboard.
The third-party system will present a sign-in screen in these cases:
- If the target URL is not public, and
- if you are not already signed in to the third-party system in the same browser.

Accessing Google Looker Studio
Select the dashboard you want to access from the drop-down list.
The third-party system will present a sign-in screen in these cases:
- If the target URL is not public, and
- if you are not already signed in to the third-party system in the same browser.
The dashboard is displayed embedded into the Emarsys UI, with every working function of the dashboard.
