In this first step you will connect to your existing Sinch Engage Project and its assets including the contacts (customers) present in the Project across multiple possible Channels, and the Campaign assets created under the Project (templates).

1. In Emarsys, open the add-on configuration screen under Add-ons > Sinch Engage.
2. Select the Settings tab.

3. The list under Projects will be empty. To connect to an existing Project in SE, click Add Project.

4. Name the connection (this name will be used in Emarsys, it can be the same as the Project name in SE).
5. Follow these SE instructions to get your API Key for the Project:
   1. Log in to your SE account.
   2. Click Settings.
   3. Click Project (usually one project in an account; if not they may have to Select desired Project).
   4. Click API.
   5. Click the Copy option to copy the API Key to clipboard.
6. Select whether you want to use Inbound Messaging in this project (you can change it later).
7. Click Save to return to your Project list with your new Project now listed.

8. The next step is setting up contacts for this Project.
