Since the Program Reporting page shows the number of contacts returned by the filter nodes, you may be tempted to add additional filters at the end of paths just to see the number of contacts that end up there.
Not only does this cause unnecessary load on the program, but each filter reflects only one specific outcome and should not be relied upon as an accurate measure of your marketing strategy.
You will get much more accurate and relevant reporting when you tie your customer engagement programs to your Smart Insight customer lifecycle reports.
