You can notify customers when a product is back in stock with the Back in stock product catalog change type. When a single or multiple products are back in stock, all contacts who are interested in at least one of the affected products will enter this program.

The Localized availability field is only available if you have selected the Back in stock type and you have localized fields in your product catalog.
How does the Notify contacts only if a minimum stock amount is available option work?
The Product Catalog Updates program checks whether:
- The product’s
availabilityfield has changed from
truesince the last time the program ran and
stock amountfield meets the specified conditions.
Can I select localized availability fields?
Yes, you can. The Localized availability field also defines the payload (Emarsys will send localized
price, etc. fields). Make sure you align the selected custom
stock amount field with the selected locale.
Which fields can I select from the product catalog?
All the custom fields in your product catalog are listed but the calculation will only be valid if you select a field containing numeric (only integer) values. If the calculation fails due to an invalid value type (e.g. string), then you will receive a detailed notification including the item IDs which contain invalid values: “During the last run of the “<Program name>” back in stock program, we found <X> non-numeric values in the selected “<Field name>” product catalog field. Examples of the affected item IDs: <Y>. Make sure that the “<Field name>” field only contains numeric values.”
