What is Emarsys Loyalty?
Emarsys Loyalty is a Platform Add-on. It creates the most personalized loyalty experience. It is designed especially for Emarsys customers, being one of the fastest solutions to onboard, and the easiest one to operate. It ensures maximum lifetime value and higher ROI.
Emarsys Loyalty treats each one of your customers individually, tracking their behavior, context and purchases to offer them an exclusive experience and create genuine connections. The add-on can be managed by you, the marketer, without assistance from your IT team.

How does it work?
Emarsys Loyalty has three main elements:
1. Your Emarsys Loyalty account
The intuitive interface in your Emarsys account allows you to set up and manage your loyalty program, including tiers, actions, rewards, a dashboard, and more.
You can track the efficiency and the status of your Loyalty program, in addition to your active campaigns, in the dashboard. The dashboard includes graphs on changes in Customer Lifetime Value, number of purchases and generated revenue.
By checking the your individual actions, you can see their the number of Loyalty actions displayed to your contacts and the proportion of successfully completed actions.
Also, this is a good place to review the issues with your Loyalty actions, such as, low redemption rates, voucher pools running low.
Tiers are the levels within your loyalty program used to rate and group your customers.
They can move between tiers to earn benefits by completing defined actions and purchasing during promotions, collecting points in return.
Actions can be various activities specified by you, ranging from purchases to engaging with your website.
Actions are rewarded by points to quantify how committed your customers are to your brand. Points, in turn, can be converted to Rewards, which may include vouchers for discounts or special services provided by you.
The Loyalty Support menu is identical to Member Profiles. During the implementation phase, you can ask you Implementation Consultant to enable it for certain users with support agent role. These users will only see the Loyalty Support menu.
2. The Loyalty Wallet
We provide a simple, pre-built Loyalty Portal for mobile and desktop e-commerce websites, which requires minimal IT skills to set up. The Loyalty Wallet appears as a sidebar widget on your website when your Loyalty members are logged in. Your customers can see their balance, activity, and earn and redeem points for gifts and other rewards. The Loyalty Wallet is customizable via the Emarsys Loyalty account. Alternatively, you can use our Loyalty API to create your own Loyalty portal and website integration from scratch.
3. Loyalty API / JavaScript commands
There are three scenarios to choose from when it comes to the technical implementation:
We provide a set of JavaScript commands that you need to install on your website. Using these, you can securely identify and authenticate the user on your website and control the Loyalty Wallet.
This option is the best if you want to use the Wallet with only basic customization capabilities, and requires only a website admin to install the commands.
We also provide an API for full integration of the Loyalty portal into your website.
This option is suitable if you want to fully customize the Wallet, for example, by unifying user and loyalty profiles. This requires that you have the requisite technical resources at hand.

You can use the JavaScript commands to set up the Loyalty portal and Wallet, but you can use API calls for specific purposes, for example, to sign up new registrations automatically on the registration form.

You can also collect more data on customers by rewarding them for completing their personal profile (e.g. adding their gender, address, favorite color, etc.).
Seamless customer experience
As this solution was designed especially for Emarsys customers, its preset admin module provides one of the fastest solutions to onboard, and the easiest to operate. Emarsys Loyalty offers a fully integrated Loyalty Wallet, enabling easy omnichannel communication and an unlimited number of actions to communicate to customers. Our smart blocks and personalization tokens auto-populate based on the customer and can be easily dragged and dropped into all of your communication channels.
External Loyalty Events (actions) can be included in Automation Center programs to combine them with other platform capabilities, such as automated campaigns or segmentation.
Various reward types
Drive loyalty without sacrificing margins: Instead of rewarding customers with vouchers only, with Emarsys Loyalty, you can offer exclusive experiences. Show your appreciation by rewarding your customers with exclusive offers, tier upgrades, and premium status.
FAQ
Is it possible to reward customers for social networking activity?
No, as it is legally forbidden to offer rewards for activity on social networks, especially on Facebook. For more information, see Facebook's developer documentation.
While we do not have direct integration with social networks, connections can be set up by using the API and external events, as long as you follow Facebook's legal guideline which is your sole responsibility.
