Creating Tags
To get started navigate to Management → Account Management → Asset Tag Management on the SAP Emarsys Platform.
The number of our promotional assets has grown considerably and the content would benefit from some organising to make finding programs easier. Our imaginary company deals with fashion goods in online retail. You can see that the system is already populated with multiple tags that serve the fashion industry well and help you organize the assets.
Let's introduce an Asset Tag for this situation: use the Create Asset Tag button to create a new Asset Tag. In the example, the Promotion tag is created with the possible values of Black Friday, Christmas holidays and Summer sale. Click Create Asset Tag.
Click the Edit (pencil) icon to add content tag category name, and add the respective values.
Focus for users
Asset Tag Management currently works with Automation and Interactions programs, in addition, the functionality is going to be available on Content blocks, as well.
Tagging Assets
Content users can add tags to help their daily work in Automation Overview.
The asset pool needs to undergo thorough tagging for this feature to work well. You could either just start tagging new assets on creation or tag the existing ones used frequently - depending on your needs.
Assigning the preferred tags on the assets for structuring
By selecting the Edit tags option, users can add tags on specific assets.
Users can also revoke tags.
Searching for the specific content
Content users can also specify the relevant content or asset to be displayed by using the Tags drop-down. Simply select the tag you wish to see.
Creating saved views
Content users can save these views by enabling the Remember Settings switch on the top. This view (List of assets) will be displayed to them when navigating to the given asset screen.
Selecting superusers
As an account owner, you are already a superuser, but if you want to distribute responsibility you can select other superusers via the Management page.
Management → User Management → Roles (tab) → Create Role → Management →
If you turn on the Manager Permissions toggle switch, Tag Manager superuser privileges are on for users with the role.
