Please note that the Loyalty wallet and API will be activated only after the first launch.
To launch your Loyalty plan for the first time, you need to complete the following configurations:
- Finish the onboarding process:
- Ensure that Smart Insight works correctly, and Loyalty fields are present in your sales data files.
- Go to Add-ons > Loyalty Management and fill in the fields in the following screens:
- Account settings: Name your Loyalty plan and also enter a unique identifier for your plan. This unique identifier is used by the Wallet and API. In case you want to work with multiple plans, you can add additional plans on this screen (If the Loyalty team enabled this option for you).
- Language & Currency: Enter the languages you want the Loyalty program to support. Additionally, enter the currencies you support on your website and the countries or regions your website operates in.
- Plan settings: Configure your plan, which includes the following:
- Tier and Points expiration
- Period for points to be in the pending mode
- Program launch type

- Create your Tiers and the Fixed benefits:
- Go to Add-ons > Tiers & Benefits.
- Optional: Use the preview of contact distribution to help you decide on the number of tiers and number of points and purchases needed for a tier.
- Create the number of tiers you want and configure them:
- Tier name & icon
- Currency to points conversion
- Number of points and purchases needed to achieve the tier
- Expiration of the tier
- Fixed benefits for each tier

- Create your Loyalty actions:
Create the default Purchase and Join actions. These default actions work as a fallback in case of a system error or if an incompatible action was sent to a user.
After you finished the setup, you are ready to launch your plan:
- Go to Add-ons > Loyalty Management > Update & launch and click Launch plan.
- Once the plan finishes launching, you will see a message on the left-hand side in the Notification center confirming that the plan is now live.

FAQ
I want to launch my Loyalty plan, but the launch button is not clickable. What do i need to do?
Check the displayed message for the incomplete settings, such as:
- Tier settings: Go to "Tier & Benefits" and check that all Tiers are active.
- Default Join Action: Go to "Actions" > "Join Loyalty" and check that the Join action with the Default Tag is active.

- Default Purchase Action: Go to "Actions" > "Purchases" and check that the Default Purchase action with the Default Tag is active.

- Sales Data: Make sure your sales data is correctly uploaded to Emarsys and that you have asked your Implementation Consultant or the Emarsys Support to activate the Product catalog and Sales data upload to Loyalty.
