This manual describes how to customize Real Time Events on SAP CCv2's end; namely, how to add additional attributes to the EmarsysCustomerReview, EmarsysOrder and EmarsysCart events.
All the steps below need to be performed in SAP CCv2.
Customize integration objects in SAP CCv2
- Go to Integration UI Tool > Integration Object Modeling.
- Search for integration objects starting with "Emarsys".
- The following three objects are related to Real Time Events and can be adjusted:
- EmarsysCustomerReview
- EmarsysOrder
- EmarsysCart
- The following three objects are related to Real Time Events and can be adjusted:
Do not adjust any other objects with the "Emarsys" pre-fix; they are related to the kernel service of the connector. Any change might result in breaking the whole connection.
- You can add any additional fields.
- For example, adding "stores" within "DeliveryMode".
Do NOT uncheck any existing integration objects, which was already checked in the list of attributes.
- Save your changes.
Once saved, the data will be synced to Emarsys (Interactions) immediately and you can use them in decision nodes, as well as for personalization.
Use customized objects in Emarsys personalization tokens
To use the customized objects for personalization in Emarsys, perform as follows:
- Click the META icon in the toolbar.
- In the Integration Object Metadata window, click the JSON tab and copy or download the code.
- In Emarsys, add the code to your personalization token. For more information about how to create and edit various personalization tokens, see Omnichannel personalization - Overview.
Re-activation resets the Emarsys standard and all your modifications will be withdrawn. In case you need to reconnect your store, please add the attributes again.
