Skip this step if your Product Catalog does not contain data for multiple locales.
The Data localisation tab enables you to configure localization data of the selected email template block.
Start with this localization step, if your product data contains localization information. The locales you set up here are available for Custom Variable configuration.
You can see the list of all the available product data fields. This is your default locale field-set.
These fields are available for VCE Product Search even if the product data does not actually contain information for these fields. Always make sure to double-check that product data fields you want to use in your template blocks are actually available in the product data of the given account.
1. Click Add localisation to configure localization data.
2. Name your localization configuration so that it could be easily recognizable when editing your email template in the VCE editor.
Note: Later on, you can modify, update or delete the added locale.
3. Select your locale from the list of the available localizations.
If the Product Data is correctly configured according to the field localization standard, the VCE product Search add-on automatically recognizes the *_locale
naming convention used in Product Data, and gives you a list of the available localizations to choose from.
4. Click Add.
5. Repeat the operation with other available locales.
6. Click Save when you are done.
Return to the Data Localisation screen. The new entry in the list with all the available localized fields are automatically detected and mapped.
