With this Partner Tactic, you can let your loyalty members know when their points are about to expire and encourage them to use their points with personalized offers.
It supports the Revenue objective by contributing to the following strategies:
- Reduce Customer Churn
- Drive Purchase Frequency
- Increase Active Customer Revenue
- Increase Premium Customer Revenue

Basic workflow
- The program checks each day those loyalty members whose points are about to expire (i.e. their
Loyalty ID
field is not empty and they have at least 10 points about to expire within the next 14 days). - These members receive an email campaign encouraging them to redeem their loyalty points.
- After 4 days, a reminder is sent to those members who did not make a purchase after your first campaign.

Activating the Tactic
Prerequisites
- Annex Cloud integration setup
- Annex Cloud-specific custom fields (these custom fields are created automatically when your create the Tactic)
- Email campaigns
- Web Channel campaigns (if used)
- Mobile Engage In-app campaigns (if used)
- Mobile Engage Push campaigns (if used)
- Personalization tokens
Steps
- Create the email campaigns.
- Add opt-in checks (email) to ensure that campaigns are only sent to contacts who opted in for receiving marketing materials.
- Create the Web Channel campaigns (if used).
- Create the Mobile Engage In-app campaigns (if used).
- Create the Mobile Engage Push campaigns (if used).
- Activate the program.
