Campaign tags feature is currently on Closed Pilot release for a limited number of clients only. We do not wish to accept new pilots, thank you for your understanding.
This article gives you an introduction to email campaign tagging and instructions for managing tags (adding, removing or modifying) for email campaigns.
What is email campaign tagging?
Email campaign tagging is an enhanced specification that helps you assign either a single or even multiple tags to your existing or new email campaigns in the Visual Content Editor (VCE), also called as block-based editor. Add email campaign tags to support further analysis by exporting data via the Emarsys API.
Why is it good for you?
So far, you could categorize and analyze your email campaigns only in a simple and one dimensional way.
With email campaign tagging now you can label your existing or newly created email campaigns to ease further analysis. You can add tags associated with email campaigns in the Email Settings page and you can access the tag data at Emarsys API.
Email campaign tagging provides you more granularity to the email campaign post-data analysis.
How to add email campaign tags?
To add a single or multiple email campaign tags to your new or existing email campaign, open Visual Content Editor (VCE) and proceed as follows:
- Go to the General settings pane on the Email Settings page of the email creation workflow.
- In the Campaign tags field enter one or more tags as free text, up to 256 characters. You can add multiple tags separated by commas.
In the Campaign tags field, you can modify or delete tags added earlier.
3. Save the email campaign.
How to access email campaign tag data?
You can access email campaign tag data via the Emarsys API.
For detailed information, see:
Tags | Array [string] | The list of tags added to the campaign returns an empty array if there is no associated tag. |
Known limitations
Character limit
