A Feedback Loop is a tool that enables complaints to be automatically recorded in your account as unsubscribes.
Setting up a Yahoo complaint feedback loop (YFBL) helps with your delivery to yahoo.com recipients. If a yahoo.com recipient marks your message as spam, you do not want to continue sending to that person, so having that address automatically unsubscribed from your account helps prevent continued sending to recipients that no longer desire your emails.
While this is a good process to have in place, it is not critical for lower volume sending or sending primarily to domains other than Yahoo.
Yahoo is the only provider who requires extra steps on your part.

Creating your Yahoo FBL
1. Create your mailbox
Go to the Reply Management page (Admin menu > Reply Management). Here you will need to create 2 mailboxes:
- postmaster@ - Required for activating the YFBL. It is best practice to have this mailbox created by default.
- abuse@ - Default mailbox used by some ISPs and services to report abuse situations.
It is best practice to have a postmaster@your.senderdomain.com and abuse@your.senderdomain.com role address set up for all your sender domains.
These are the Internet standard addresses for such accounts and are one of the most important methods used by mailbox providers, customers and others to ask questions, report abuse, or send notifications to senders.
These inboxes should be regularly monitored and managed by you so that you can process complaints, unsubscribe requests, and so on.
Open the Actions tab and click Create New.
Enter postmaster in the first field and add your sender domain to the second field, then click Create Address.
Repeat for abuse.
The two mailboxes will now be visible in Reply Management.

2. Register with Yahoo FBL
Access the Yahoo Feedback Loop Page here. You should arrive a page like this:

Complete all fields on the page, as follows:
- Company Name: Emarsys
- Contact Name: Deliverability Team
- Phone: +43147820800
- Contact email: gdeliv@emarsys.com
- Reporting email: abuse@eemms.net
- Selector: *
- Request type: Select Add
- Domain: Enter your sender domain
To submit your information, click Get Verification Code.

Leave your browser tab open on the next page and go to your inbox for the postmaster@ address for your domain.
Here you will see your unique verification code.

Copy the code that was sent to you and return to the YFBL page. Enter the code and click Create Request to complete the form.

You should receive a confirmation message. If you do not, you will need to repeat these steps again. If this happens more than once, please contact Yahoo support.

Once your DKIM has been created, the next step is to ensure you have a postmaster@ your_domain_name mailbox set up for your sending domain(s). This address will receive a confirmation email required for completing your Feedback Loop setup. You'll also need a Yahoo account in order to access the CFL request page.
