Emarsys is an inclusive company and we want to show this in our product, too. This starts with the concept of opening up the platform for everyone.
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guide standard and plan to achieve a 1-star rating (out of 3).
We are updating our components to make sure they are accessible via keyboard navigation (tab navigation). As the first iteration, our navigation and data grid are getting more accessible, so our users will be able to skip components via the TAB key.
More components are to follow in the near future, and screen reader support is one of our goals, too.
In the Autumn release in 2021, we are including the following:
- side and top navigation
- data grid
In the Spring release of 2022, we made the Visual Content Editor fully available for keyboard navigation.
Summer Release 2022
In the process of continuous improvement, in this release we have included the following components for keyboard navigation:
- Floating components: dialogs, tooltips
- Vertical Navigation
- Tabs
- Accordions
